Freshman Hana Abu-Kwiek scored a team-high eight goals on the week as Lake Erie went 1-2 overall including an 18-11 win over Tiffin University. … Abu-Kwiek scored four goals to share top honors with Meredith Howe, Julia Kudla in the win over Tiffin. Abu-Kwiek scored four more goals in a 17-10 loss on the road at St. Thomas Aquinas to open East Coast Conference Play Saturday. Abu-Kwiek added a team-high seven groundballs and five draw controls for the week.

The freshman was named ECC Rookie of the Week earlier this season on March 12. She is currently third on the team with 14 goals.
