Braggs Field

Braggs Field

The Lake Erie baseball team plays a majority of its home games within the friendly confines of Braggs Field at Kiwanis Recreation Park in Downtown Painesville.  The field, which is also home to the Harvey High School team, is part of a major park and athletic complex which also includes Jack Britt Memorial Stadium, Diamond 9 - home of the Lake Erie softball team - and several community and youth league baseball and softball fields.

The park's footprint is created by the scenic Grand River, which runs just beyond the outfield fence in center and right fiels.  Recent improvements to the park include the replacement of bullpen mounds for both home and visiting teams and the installation of permanent batting cages underneath the stands the Britt Stadium.  Brand new dugouts and storage areas were added in 2011 and the outfield fence and backstop received a facelift prior to 2012.
