Lake Erie College Athletic Facilities
Storm student-athletes are provided quality athletic venues, located both on and off campus, to practice and compete in. The Jerome T. Osborne Family Athletic and Wellness Center is the crown jewel of the athletic facilities and serves as the home venue for a number of Storm teams and houses the Department of Athletics primary offices and Sports Medicine athletic training room.
Among the outdoor facilities, Slattery Field is located in the hear of campus and currently hosts some soccer contests and serves as the practice field for many Storm team. Jack Britt Memorial Stadium, home of Lake Erie football, soccer and lacrosse, will underwent a nearly million dollar facelift in the summer of 2011 with the installation of a synthetic playing surface. Also located at Kiwanis Recreation Park are Braggs Field and Diamond 9, home of Lake Erie College baseball and softball, respectively.
Other off-campus venues include Classic Park, home of the Lake County Captains and the Lake Erie baseball team, the Community Fitness Center Natatorium in Perry, the Mentor Heisley Racquet & Fitness Club and Legends Lake Country Club in Chardon, one of Ohio's premier private golf-only facilities.
