2009: Started all 11 games at defensive end as a sophomore… finished with 21 total tackles and one quarterback sack… had a career-high four tackles twice, vs. Ohio Dominican on 10/3 and vs. Urbana on 10/24… made three stops and blocked potential winning field goal attempt at the end of regulation in overtime win at Adrian on 9/26.

2008: Played in nine games and made three starts on the defensive line as a true freshman… made 13 total tackles on the season, including four for losses… had two quarterback sacks… had a season-high three tackles at Salisbury on 10/18… had two stops, including a sack, vs. Wesley on 11/8.

PRIOR TO LAKE ERIE: Played football and baseball for four years at nearby Mentor High School… played on two teams that reached state championship game in football.

PERSONAL: Born Feb. 19, 1990… majoring in education… parents are Mike and Judy Freeman.
