PRIOR TO LAKE ERIE: Played four years of football and basketball and was a three-year thrower on the track and field team at Cloverleaf High School… served as a team captain and was an All-Suburban League selection in football… was also an all-league pick in basketball after leading team in scoring and rebounding… was the Suburban League champion in the discus… named Cloverleaf’s Athlete of the Year and track team’s field M.V.P. as a senior.
