2009: Started all 11 games as a redshirt-sophomore defensive lineman… was an ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District IV Second Team pick… made 21 tackles (11 solo) on the season… had a season-high four stops against Kentucky Wesleyan on Oct. 31… also had 1.5 tackles for loss in the game… was second on the team with 6.5 tackles for loss… had three tackles (one for loss) and a forced fumble at West Liberty on Sept. 12.
2008: Started all 11 games in the Storm’s inaugural season as a freshman… finished the season with 17 tackles (seven solo), including five for loss… tied for second on the team with two sacks, including one for a 12-yard loss on Sept. 6 at Fairmont State… recorded the first blocked kick in school history in the season finale against Wesley College on Nov. 8… forced and recovered at Fairmont State on Sept. 6.
PRIOR TO LAKE ERIE: Was a two-way lineman for four years at Big Walnut High School… named All-Ohio Capital Conference, All-District and All-Ohio honorable mention… team was OCC champion and a regional finalist.
PERSONAL: Born on Dec. 22, 1988… majoring in pre-health… parents are Linda and J Jonard… twice named to the athletic honor roll at LEC… competes on the Western IHSA team in the equestrian program at Lake Erie.
