2009: Freshman defensive lineman appeared in eight games… made six tackles (two solo) on the season… had two stops each in three games… finished the year with 1.5 tackles for loss, including a sack for a nine-yard loss at Adrian on Sept. 26… recovered a fumble at Apprentice on Oct. 10.

PRIOR TO LAKE ERIE: Was a four-year defensive tackle at Bellevue High School… earned All-Ohio honorable mention laurels… also played first base on the baseball team at BHS.

PERSONAL: Born on April 18, 1991… majoring in sports management… parents are Jenny and Scott Laird.
