QUICK NOTES: Division II Lake Erie begins its third varsity football season with its traditional Thursday night opening game against Gannon... Gannon has won first two meetings, by a total of three points (24-22 in 2008, 35-34 in 2009)... this is the second straight year the teams are opening in Erie...the Storm returns 47 regulars and 21 players with starting experience... junior QB Sean Bedevelsky (Brunswick) totaled over 2,700 yards last year with 15 passing TDs and nine rushing... top eight pass catchers return on offense and top 14 tackles on defense, led by junior LB Gus Armbruster (North Royalton) who had 86 stops last year... this is the second straight season all 11 Storm games will be aired on ESPN 970 WFUN.
