CHRISTMAS WEEK AT HOME: The Lake Erie Storm opens up its Christmas week with a home tussle with California University (Pa.). The Storm is coming off a three-game road trip, capped by an 83-55 loss at Indianapolis on Saturday (Dec. 19). It was Lake Erie's third straight loss, but the Storm will host the Vulcans tonight at the Jerome T. Osborne Family Athletic & Wellness Center where LEC is 3-1 this season and 48-11 all-time. California had its Sunday night home game against Chestnut Hill postponed due to inclement winter weather.

FAMILIAR FOE: Tonight, the Storm will look to avenge a 68-62 loss to the Vulcans when the teams squared off on Dec. 1 in California. Lake Erie never led in that game, but managed to whittle a 15-point Vulcan lead down to two with five minutes left. California went on a 6-0 run from there to close out the game, however.

HOME SWEET HOME: With its two home wins Dec. 5-6 over Edinboro and Indianapolis, the Storm improved to 3-1 on its home floor this season, while improving its all-time record at the Jerome T. Osborne Family Athletic & Wellness Center to 48-11 (.814) since 2004.

23rd SEASON OF STORM HOOPS: This is the 23rd season in Lake Erie men's basketball history, in which the Storm has posted an overall record of 185-370 (.333).  However, since opening the 2002-03 season, Lake Erie is 112-90 (.554).

LAST TIME OUT FOR THE STORM: The Storm capped its three-game road trip with its third straight loss at Indianapolis on Saturday, 83-55. Lake Erie, which beat the Greyhounds in a one-point game on Dec. 6, struggled in all facets of the game in Saturday's loss. The Storm hit just 2-of-17 three-pointers, while allowing the Hounds to shoot 44 percent from outside (10-23). Indianapolis also pounded the glass to a 42-29 advantage, while grabbing 21 offensive boards to Lake Erie's 15 defensive rebounds.  Junior guard Antonio Kidd (Cleveland, Ohio/Lakewood) led the Storm with 13 points on 6-of-11 shooting. He also added a team-high four assists. Freshman center Garrick Sims (Barberton, Ohio/Barberton) added 10 points and a team-high five rebounds.

KIDD'S DOUBLE DIGITS: Lake Erie point guard Antonio Kidd has scored double-digit points in his last four games, including a team-high 13 on Saturday. The Cleveland native also has averaged 3.5 assists in that span and has shot 38 percent (8-21) from three-point range. For the season, Kidd has reached double-digit scoring in seven of the Storm's 13 games.

CAMPBELL NEARS 1,000: Senior forward Darnell Campbell is just eight points shy of the 1,000-point mark for his career.  To date, he has scored 992 points. Only 10 players have reached the 1,000-point mark in Lake Erie history.
