GAMEDAY CENTRAL: Storm Shoot for Three Straight in Urbana

STORM STRIVES FOR THREE STRAIGHT: Lake Erie will look to extend its winning streak to a season-high three games on Thursday(Jan. 6) when they travel to take on Urbana University. The Storm started off the season 2-0 with wins over Wilberforce and Northwestern Ohio before losing six straight games.  Lake Erie rebounded on Dec. 29-30 when they won a pair of games to take the title at the Notre Dame College Comfort Inn Holiday Tournament . The Storm defeated Windsor, 73-67, in the opening game and Notre Dame, 81-73, in the championship game.

OPPONENT OUTLOOK: Urbana University (2-12), enters on a five-game losing streak.  They played last on Dec. 19 when they fell at Edinboro University, 90-82.  The Blue Knights have not played at home since a 79-70 win on Dec. 4, against Gannon and are 1-1 in the Warren G. Grimes center this season. 

SERIES HISTORY: These teams have met twice in each of the past two seasons.  Last season the home team took each matchup as Urbana won 83-72, on 1/23/10 and Lake Erie returned the favor, 77-68, on 2/13/10 In 2009, the road teams were victorious in both matchups with the Storm taking a 86-79 win on 1/31/09 and the Blue Knights getting the split, 82-76, on 2/7/09 in Painesville.

GOING FOR 1,000: To date, senior guard Ethan Bradshaw has accumulated 993 career points.  Bradshaw is just seven points shy of becoming the 12th player in Lake Erie's 1,000-point club after graduated teammate Darnell Campbell reached the mark last season.

BRADSHAW BRINGING IT: Bradshaw has been Lake Erie's top scorer with 16.4 ppg.  "Mr. Consisent" in the scoring department, Bradshaw has been in double figures in nine- of-10 games this season and has led the team in scoring eight times.
