NOTABLES: The Lake Erie College men's basketball team returns home after road trips to the Upper Peninsula and the Hall of Fame City to host a pair of Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) games this weekend against Hillsdale College on Thursday (Jan. 17) and the University of Findlay on Saturday (Jan. 19). The Storm split a pair of games in Canton last weekend, defeating Malone University 82-79, Jan. 10 before falling to Walsh University, 87-76, Jan. 12. Sophomore Jamil Dudley (Massillon, Ohio/Massillon) scored 18 points against Malone on eight-of-ten shooting (80%) from the floor, including two-of-three (66%) from beyond the arch. Junior Nate Tait (South Euclid, Ohio/Bursh/Alderson-Broaddus) scored a season-high 13 points off the bench against Malone...sophomore Trey Howard (Lima, Ohio/Lima Shawnee) led the Storm with a carrer-high 14 points off the bench in a losing effort at Walsh...LEC shot 53.2% from the field (33-of-62) against Walsh, their highest output in a loss this season but only had seven attempts from the free-throw line...junior Riley Thomas (Cardington, Ohio/Cardington-Lincoln) has hit double-digits five of the past six games and is averaging a team-high 12.9 ppg...overall, the Storm's 9.2 steals per game is second in the GLIAC this season...the Hillsdale Chargers enters Thursday on a two-game winning streak, picking up wins over Tiffin University and Ohio Dominican last weekend...Tim Dezelski leads the Chargers with 16.7ppg...the Findlay Oilers are coming off a 57-55 loss to Tiffin last weekend that knocked them out of the top 25 but have managed to win six of their last eight overall...Greg Kahling leads the Oilers with 14.4 ppg. 

UP NEXT FOR LEC: The Storm hit the road for a pair of GLIAC games next weekend, traveling to Tiffin University (Jan. 24) and Ohio Dominican University (Jan. 26).
