LAKE ERIE RIDES THREE-GAME WINNING STREAK INTO THE WEEKEND: The Storm put their three-game winning streak on the line this weekend as they travel to Hillsdale College and the University of Findlay. The Storm picked up a pair of victories over Malone University and Walsh University- who sat at the top of the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) South Division standings heading into the game. Lake Erie has won four games over a five game streak to improve to .500 overall. Senior guard Riley Thomas led the Storm this past weekend with 33 and 25 point performances, earning a GLIAC South Division Player of the Week honor. After this weekend, the Storm return home for a three-game home slate, hosting Tiffin University, Ohio Dominican University and Ashland University.
SCOUTING THE CHARGERS: The Chargers enter Thursday's game with a 10-4 record. In their most recent outing, Hillsdale fell to Ohio Dominican, 57-55. The loss snapped the Chargers eight game winning streak. The Chargers are at the top of the GLIAC in points allowed per game at 64.1. Tim Dezelski leads Hillsdale in scoring with 24.9 points per game.
SCOUTING THE OILERS: Findlay faces Ashland University Thursday before hosting the Storm on Saturday. The Oilers are currently on a four-game winning streak. Findlay ranks second in the GLIAC in points per game with 85.4. They lead the GLIAC in free-throw attempts (27.1) and made free-throws (19.2) per game. Greg Kahlig leads the Oilers with 21.6 points per game.
