LAKE ERIE COLLEGE vs TIFFIN UNIVERSITY/OHIO DOMINICAN UNIVERSITY
LAKE ERIE OPENS THREE-GAME HOMESTAND: The Storm open a three-game Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) South Division homestand this weekend, looking to snap a two-game losing streak, hosting Tiffin University and Ohio Dominican University. The Storm fell in its two contests last weekend to Hillsdale College and the University of Findlay. Lake Erie currently sit in fifith place in the South, two games back of fourth-place Malone University. The top four teams in each division qualify for the GLIAC playoffs. After this weekend, the Storm host Ashland University on Tuesday before heading to Malone and Walsh University.
SCOUTING THE DRAGONS: The Dragons head into Painesville Thursday on a four-game losing streak. Last weekend, the Dragons fell to Malone Univeristy, 89-84. Their scheduled game with Walsh was postponed due to bad weather. Tiffin ranks fourth in the GLIAC in blocks per game with 4.4 and first in steals with 8.9. Joe Graessle leads the Dragons in scoring with 23.3 points per game.
SCOUTING THE PANTHERS: The Panthers face Ashland Thursday night before their match against the Storm Saturday. Ohio Dominican enters Thursday's game on a two-game losing streak, winning just one of their past 10 games. Their last win came against Hillsdale on Jan. 18. Mark Minch leads the Panthers with 15.9 points per game.
