GAME NOTES 

The Lake Erie College men's basketball team continues its road trip this weekend, visiting Wayne State University and the University of Findlay. 

"On the road in the GLIAC is no picnic and going to Wayne State and Findlay is a big challenge for our team," said Storm Head Coach Cliff Hunt.  "Wayne always guards as well as anyone we will play and Findlay is playing their best basketball of the year right now with five straight wins and in first place in the GLIAC South.  These two road games are really important to us to stay in contention in the South."  

LAST TIME OUT: The Storm fell at Walsh University 83-60 last Saturday (Jan. 16).  Roy Alexander led the Storm with a career-high 20 points, hitting five three-pointers while grabbing three rebounds.  Trey Howard finished with 17 points.  Brogan Scott had a career-high seven points.  Steve Walczak had a season-high eight rebounds off the bench.  Andy Bosley had four assists.  

SERIES HISTORY: The Storm is 1-7 all-time against the Warriors.  Last season, the Storm split the series with Wayne State with each team winning on their home court.  Against the Oilers, the Storm is 1-10 all0time.  Last season, the Storm picked up their first win against Findlay on the road. 

OPPOSITION POSITION: The Warriors enter with a 2-11 overall record and a 2-8 mark in conference play.  They are coming off losses against Tiffin University and Ohio Dominican University last weekend.  Ronald Booth leads the Warriors' offense, averaging 16.6 points per game.  The Oilers enter the game with a 10-5 overall record and a 7-3 mark in conference play.  Before playing the Storm, they host Ashland University, defending their five-game winning streak.  Martyce Kimbrough leads the Oilers' offense, averaging 14.5 points per game. 

FORECAST: The Storm is back at home next weekend, playing host to Tiffin University and Ohio Dominican University.
