GAME NOTES

The Lake Erie College men's basketball team wraps up its 2015-16 home schedule against Wayne State University and the University of Findlay.

"We have two very challenging games coming up to complete our home schedule," said Storm Head Coach Cliff Hunt.  "Wayne State may be the most athletic team in the conference and they are playing their best basketball right now.  We had a tough time scoring on them at their place and that will be our challenge again.  Our Saturday game against Findlay is our Senior Day and we know our six seniors want to play a great game against the team that is leading the GLIAC South and want to get a win in their last home game of their careers.  We know that will be a great, competitive game on Senior Day."

LAST TIME OUT: The Storm fell in a close battle against Walsh University in Painesville.  Sean Howard finished with 21 points and three assists.  Andy Bosley netted 14 off the bench while Collin Barth had 11.  Trey Howard was also in double digits with 10 points with four rebounds and four assists.  Steve Walczak and Brogan Scott shared the team-high with seven rebounds.

SERIES HISTORY: The Storm is 1-8 all-time against Wayne State.  They fell to the Warriors earlier this season in Detroit.  Against Findlay, the Storm is 1-11 all-time, falling to the Oilers on the road earlier this season.

OPPOSITION POSITION: The Warriors enter Thursday game with a 6-14 overall record and a 6-11 mark in GLIAC play.  They are currently on a two game winning streak, most recently defeating Ohio Dominican University.  Offensively, they are led by Ronald Booth, who averages 15.8 points per game.  The Oilers visit Ashland University before heading to Painesville Saturday.  The Oilers own a 17-5 record and a 14-3 mark in GLIAC play.  They are on a 12 game winning streak, most recently defeating Tiffin University.  Offensively, they are led by Martyce Kimbrough, who averages 15.4 points per game.
