The Lake Erie College men's golf team completed the final round of the NCAA Great Lakes Regional, posting a two-day score of 671.

Storm Men Struggle at Purgatory in Regional First Round
Senior Frank Whites was the only Storm golfer to shoot a round in the 70's on Sunday during the first round of the final Great Lakes Regional event of the season. LEc is currently 24th at the 25-team event at Purgatory Club Golf in Indianapolis.

Senior Mike Guarino tied for 19th place individually after being one of three Storm golfers in the 70's on Monday afternoon, but Lake Erie couldn't gain any ground in the standings during third round of its second conference championship appearance.

Second Round Swoon Slips Storm for Contention at GLIAC Championships
The Lake Erie men were just seven stokes from third place as a team after Sunday morning's first round, but slumped in the afternoon during the second round of the GLIAC Championships. The Storm is in 11th place heading into Monday's third and final round at Eagle Eye Golf Club.
