PAINESVILLE, OHIO -- The Lake Erie College men's lacrosse teamis ranked 10th in the first LaxPower Division II Computer Power Rankings Poll of the 2012 season.
Lake Erie has registered 85.99 points, just .02 points behind Seton Hill University.
The computer ranking is a formulated poll based on a margin of victory formula that is predicated on strength of schedule, ratings percentage index, quality wins, win-loss records, and polls. The Storm was ranked 23rd to end last season.
Within the East Coast Conference, Lake Erie is ranked seventh. The Storm is 1-1 overall on the year with a three-goal victory at Pfeiffer University and a three goal loss to perennial national power New York Institute of Technology.
The Storm is next in action when it opens its annual Spring Break trip on March 14 at Lenoir-Rhyne College.
