Harding was pegged as a Division II first teamer; Goodwin and Tarte were selected to the second team. InsideLacrosse staffers selected the teams by ballot. Earlier this off-season, IL ranked Lake Erie 10th in its preseason D-II top-10 poll.
Harding – a junior midfielder from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada -- started all 16 games for LEC last season. He tallied 31 goals and 39 points en route to earning First Team All-ECAC honors. Harding scored three goals and had an assist in the ECAC Tournament semifinals upset of Seton Hill (Pa.), earning him a spot on the ECAC All-Tournament Team.
Goodwin – a junior defender from New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada – emerged as the Storm's top defender a year ago in a sophomore campaign that saw him register 88 ground balls and 23 caused turnovers.
Tarte – a senior attacker from Amherstburg, Ontario, Canada – led NCAA-II in scoring last season with an LEC-single-season record 63 goals. He was tabbed as an All-ECAC second teamer.
Harding, Good, Tarte and the rest of the Storm are scheduled to kick off their 2014 season at Florida Southern on March 4.
