Fifth-Ranked Storm Travels South to Face Mount Olive (PREVIEW)

#5 LAKE ERIE COLLEGE at #12 UNIVERSITY OF MOUNT OLIVE

The fifth-ranked Lake Erie College men's lacrosse team travels to North Carolina to face 12th-ranked University of Mount Olive Wednesday (March 10).

LAST TIME OUT: The Storm defeated then second-ranked Le Moyne College 7-6 in Syracuse Feb. 28.  Reagan Harding and Austin Bishop had two goals apiece in the win.

SERIES HISTORY: The Storm was victorious in their only meeting with the Trojans.  In 2013, the Storm won 16-8 on the road.  Senior defenseman Justin Goodwin scored two goals and had an assist in the game.

OPPOSITION POSITION: The Trojans are off to a 5-1 start this season.  Their marquee win came over Mercyhurst University in February.  Brett Kingston leads the Trojans with 20 points and 17 goals.  Jake Duarte has 11 assists. 

IN THE RANKINGS: The Storm currently sits in fifth in the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association poll, receiving one first-place vote.

FORECAST: The Storm remain in North Carolina for a Friday (March 13) game at 14th-ranked Belmont Abbey College.
