After a debut season in 2010 that saw the Storm post a 3-11 overall record (1-9 ECC), Stocks led Lake Erie to a strong second season as the Storm improved by four games in 2011 for a 7-7 overall mark and finished seventh in the 11-team ECC with a 4-6 league record. During the season the Storm won a record three-straight games and then finished strong by winning three of their last four contests. The only loss during that stretch was a close 14-11 setback to perennial national power NYIT.
Stocks is a 2006 graduate of Mercyhurst College with a bachelor’s degree in business. Upon graduation, he served as an assistant at Lycoming College where he was instrumental in the Warrior’s offensive game planning.
