Stuckey Named ECAC Co-Offensive Player of the Week

PAINESVILLE, OHIO - Lake Erie College junior forward/midfielder Scott Stuckey (Avon Lake, Ohio/Avon) has been named the East College Athletic Conference (ECAC) men's soccer Division II Co-Offensive Player of the Week.

Stuckey scored a pair of goals in two straight games over the weekend to lead the Storm to a sweep of its two-game road trip to Michigan and a 2-1 week overall.  He scored twice in Lake Erie's 4-3 win Friday at Northwood University and then tallied the only two goals in a 2-0 win at Saginaw Valley State University.  Stuckey has scored six goals in the last four games, during which Lake Erie has a 3-1-1 mark.  On the season, he leads the team with 8 goals and 17 points.

He shares the honor with Patric Brundin of the University of Bridgeport, who also scored four goals last week.

Stuckey and the Storm return to the pitch on Thursday, Oct. 8, when they host Ashland University at 4 p.m.
