Storm Falls in GLIAC Semis to Ohio Dominican

COLUMBUS, Ohio-- The Lake Erie College men's soccer team was unable to find the back of the net against Ohio Dominican University, falling 2-0 Friday (Nov. 8) in a Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Tournament semifinal contest.

After over 30 minutes of fast paced action in the first half, the Panther's Andrew Schwall scored the first goal of the game off a lead pass by Jakob Szabo. The Panthers outshot the Storm 8-4 in the first half.

The Panthers continued to pressure the Storm in the second half, limiting the Storm to just two shots while producing eight of their own. Jacob Atkinson added a goal late in the half to seal the Ohio Dominican win, 2-0.

Storm goalkeeper Filip Ljubevski made five saves in net. Stuart Campbell (Glassgow, Scotland/Glassgow Academy) led the Storm with three shots.

Macklin Robinson picked up the win in net for the Panthers, making three saves. Ohio Domincan moves on to face Saginaw Valley State University- who defeated Tiffin University earlier in the day- in the GLIAC Championship on Sunday (Nov. 8).
