Men's Soccer Set for Match at Walsh (Preview)

PAINESVILLE, Ohio- The Lake Erie College men's soccer team will conclude a three game road swing with a Great Midwest matchup with the Walsh University Cavaliers on Tuesday (Sept. 19) at 7:30 PM.

Storm Report: The Storm enters the matchup with a 1-4 overall record and a 0-3 G-MAC mark. The Storm fell 3-1 at Ohio Dominican on Saturday (Sept. 16). Javier Borreguero (Nigran, Spain / Los Sauces School) scored late in the game for the Storm. Borreguero has scored two goals in his last two games, tying him for the team lead with three goals.

Opposition Position: Walsh is 2-3-1 overall and 1-2 in Great Midwest matchups. The Cavaliers fell 3-0 at Alderson Broaddus in their last match. Jp Alexis leads the team with three goals.

Series History: The Storm and the Cavaliers have met 12 times in the series as both teams were part of the GLIAC. Lake Erie holds a 9-2-1 series edge over the Cavaliers. The Green and White defeated Walsh 3-0 in the first matchup and then battled to a scoreless draw in the second matchup.
