PAINESVILLE, Ohio— Continuing their excellence out of the pool, the Lake Erie College swimming teams were named 2013 College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-American Teams for their academic performance in the spring semester. The two squads earned the honor for the fall semester this season as well.
To qualify for the honor, the team must have a combined grade point average of 3.0 or higher during the semester in which the NCAA Championships is held.
The Storm men's team was one of 31 NCAA Division II schools to earn the honor, compiling a team GPA of 3.04 for the semester.
On the women's side, they were one of 55 teams to earn the honor, with a team GPA of 3.18.
