Storm Women Earn All-Academic Status from USTFCCCA

PAINESVILLE, OHIO -- The Lake Erie College women's track and field team was one of 67 teams recognized by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) as a Division II All-Academic Team for the 2009-10 season.

The distinction comes as a result of having a cumulative grade point average above 3.0.  The Storm posted a GPA of 3.08 as a team.

It was the second time that Lake Erie has been recognized during the school year by the USTFCCCA.  The women's cross country team was also named an All-Academic squad in the fall.
