Postwaite and Prusky Hit Season High Provisional Marks
Lake Erie freshmen Joe Postwaite and Destiny Prusky posted season-high and school-record jumps on Friday in the triple jump and high jump, respectively. Postwaite cleared the 49' mark for the first time while Prusky went past 5' 6". Both marks are NCAA Division II provisional qualifiers.

Postwaite Claims Second Title, GLIAC Freshman Field Athlete of the Year Award
Joe Postwaite won the triple jump at the GLIAC Outdoor Championships on Friday, his second individual title of the event, earning him the league's top first-year field award. As a team, the Storm men finished seventh.

Postwaite and Dudley Claim Jump Titles at GLIAC Outdoor Championships (W/Video)
Freshman Joe Postwaite and sophomore All-American Jamil Dudley each won individual crowns on Thursday at the first full day of the conference meet. Postwaite won the long jump in provisional qualifying fashion and Dudley pulled out the high jump title on his final attempt. The Storm men are currently fourth heading into Friday's final day of competition.

Junior Eric Klucar was the top Division II pole vaulter Friday (April 20) during day one of the All-Ohio Championships at Miami University. He placed eighth in the event to score the Storm's first point of the competition.

Freshman Joe Postwaite set his second school record of the weekend, this time in the long jump, and classmate Destiny Prusky won the women's high jump B flight as the Storm concluded its outdoor opening-weekend in Winston-Salem.

Big Day for Dudley & Postwaite Who Open Outdoor Season with National Marks
Sophomore Jamil Dudley's outdoor debut featured an NCAA automatic and US Olympic Trial provisional qualifying jump at the Wake Forest Open on Friday. In addition, freshman Joe Postwaite provisionally qualified for the NCAA's in the triple jump and made the cut for the US Junior Nationals.

Lake Erie performed well in its final preparations for next week's league meet with nine top-10 finishes. Destiny Prusky was the lone event winner, taking the high jump, but accounted for one of the Storm's three school records on the day. Thrower Taylor Williams had the other two.

Dudley Qualifies for National Meet in Season Debut as Jumpers Dominate at Akron
Sophomore All-American Jamil Dudley made his first appearance for the Storm track and field team Friday night at the Zips Invitational and automatically qualified for the NCAA Division II National Championships in the high jump. The two-sport star cleared 7' 1/2" to punch his ticket to Minnesota. Joe Postwaite won the triple jump and Colleen Bednar took second in the women's long jump for LEC.

Boyd and Postwaite Double Winners at B-W Mid-February Meet
Junior Andrea Boyd and freshman Joe Postwaite each claimed two of Lake Erie's seven first-place finishes Friday night at the Mid-February Meet at Baldwin-Wallace. Boyd won the women's 55-meters and 55-meter hurdles while Postwaite continued his dominance in the triple jump and also won the high jump.

Lake Erie, which finished 16th at last year's NCAA Indoor Championships, is one of five GLIAC teams ranked in the top 25 of the coaches' association national computer poll. It's the highest ranking ever for the Storm.

Storm Men's Track Unveils Recruiting Class
Head Coach Bryan Harmon has signed six student-athletes to letters of intent to compete for the Storm beginning in 2011-12. The class includes sprinter Jarrod Edwards, hurdler Dakoda Walker, jumpers Joe Postwaite, Javonie Rose and Billy McGuire, and thrower Sean Stone.

Storm Women Honored as All-Academic Team
Lake Erie's women's track and field team earned All-Academic recognition from the USTFCCCA for the second straight year. The Storm posted a 3.21 GPA during the season and finished the academic year with a team GPA of 3.19.
