THE GAME: Lake Erie heads to University Heights, Ohio, for a road tilt against the Ursuline Arrows, and the Storm has a five-game win streak in tow. With a 5-0 record, LEC has already topped its win total from a year ago when the Green & White went 4-22. Lake Erie has thus far been a much-improved squad on defense, on the boards and in it shooting accuracy. ... The Storm is 3-0 on the road this season and is coming off a Tuesday victory at Mansfield (Pa.). In that contest -- a 69-60 win -- Lake Erie allowed just 20 first-half points. A stout LEC defense forced 30 turnovers, and the Storm out-rebounded a foe (39-33) for the fourth time in five games. Lake Erie got 15 points, eight rebounds and four steals from senior F CHLOE IRISH, who went 6-of-13 from the floor. F SHELBY CARPENTER and C KAEDING SKELTON added 11 and 10 points, respectively, in a game that saw LEC once again distribute its offensive contributions in a balanced fashion. Thus far in 2013-14 the Green & White have yielded just 56.4 points per contest; that mark leads the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference in the early going.

THE SERIES: LEC and Ursuline have met each of the last four years, playing once each season. The Storm has won three of those four games, and they have come in succession. UC shot just 25.9 percent (15-of-58) in last year's meeting, an 82-41 Lake Erie win in Painesville, Ohio.

SCOUTING THE ARROWS: Ursuline heads into Sunday night's game on a two-game losing streak. Like the Storm, the Arrows are playing a second game this week: UC lost at Malone (78-70) on Wednesday. ... The Arrows haven't had any trouble scoring: they have piled up 68 points or more in four of their five games. Ursuline heads into Sunday's tilt averaging 70.6 PPG. ... UC's leading scorer thus far has been freshman F TAJANEE WELLS who has tallied 15.2 PPG. Junior F EMMA RICKETTS has averaged 14.4 PPG, and she is coming off a 22-point night at Malone. Ricketts is shooting 64.4 percent (29-of-45) from the floor. ... Ursuline is 1-1 this season at "home" (see Storm Damage note on page 7). Sunday's game is the first in a string of four in a row at home for the Arrows.
