Lake Erie led 8-5 midway through the second half, but the Griffins went on a 7-0 run over an 11 minute span to pull out the three-goal victory and keep the Storm winless in conference play despite four goals from freshman Hana Abu-Kwiek.

Lake Erie built an eight-goal lead early in the second half, but a 8-1 Colorado Mesa run got the Mavs right back into the game. Meredith Howe scored a game-high six goals, including one with just under five minutes left, and Ashriel West added an insurance goal with two minutes to go for the Storm.

Bloomsburg assistant coach Jillian Howley has been named Lake Erie's new women's lacrosse coach. Howley, a former standout in lacrosse and field hockey at Robert Morris, is the second coach in Storm history.
