Julia Kudla Named GLIAC Player of the Week
BAY CITY, Mich.-- Senior attack Julia Kudla (Harleysville, Pa./Souderton) was named the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Week for her performance from March 3-9.
Kudla tallied 31 points on 12 goals, 19 assists and grabbed 14 groundballs as the Storm went 3-0 in the opening week. She had a perfect shooting percentage (12-of-12) during the week. In the season opener on Monday against Adams State University, the senior scored five goals and had four assists. Against Colorado Mesa State University on Wednesday, Kudla had another nine point game, scoring three goals and assisting on six others. Friday against McKendree University, Kudla scored four goals and had nine assists for a 13 point game while grabbing a game-high eight groundballs.
For the season, Kudla has a team-high 35 points on 13 goals and 22 assists and has a team-high 16 groundballs.
