Kudla Named GLIAC Athlete of the Week for Second Time

BAY CITY, Mich.-- Lake Erie College women's lacrosse senior Julia Judla (Harleysville, Pa./Souderton) has earned Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Athlete of the Week for her play from April 16-23. This is second time this season that Kudla has earned the honor. 

For the week, Kudla tallied 32 points on 14 goals and 18 assists while also collecting 14 groundballs and 19 draw controls. 

Kudla recorded eight points on five goals and three assists while collecting seven groundballs and eight draw controls against nonconference foe Gannon University on April 16. In a 24-12 win over Findlay on April 19, the senior scored three goals and assisted on four more for seven points. She also grabbed seven groundballs and two draw controls. In a key 15-9 win over Tiffin on April 21, Kudla tallied eight points on three goals and five assists while also controlling five draws. Against Alderson-Broaddus on April 22, Kudla scored three goals and assisted on six more for nine points while collecting four groundballs and draw controls.
