STORM HOSTS TWO: The Lake Erie College women's lacrosse team hosts West Virginia Wesleyan College and Grand Valley State University this weekend to conclude a three-game homestand.

LAST TIME OUT: The Storm defeated Ursuline College 18-9 in the 2014 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) opener.  Ashriel West led the way for the Storm with five goals and two assists. Hana Abu-Kwiek and Samantha Gryba netted four and assisted on one apiece.  Emma Miller tallied three points on two goals, one assist while Mallory Quiggle and Joan Graziano had a goal and an assist apiece.  Kayla Bohn also notched a goal.  Katie Holden made eight saves in net for the win.

OPPOSITION POSITION: West Virginia Wesleyan heads into Painesville with a 3-7 record.  Taylor Holmes leads the Bobcats with 21 goals while goalkeeper Kallie Morgan has made 83 saves. Grand Valley State heads to the University of Findlay Friday before arriving in Painesville for Sunday's game.  The Lakers enter Friday's game with a 3-5 record.  The defending GLIAC champs are led by Sarah Lowe's 20 points and team-high 10 assists. Ryan Skomial leads the Lakers with 12 goals while goalie Sarah Zwilsky has made 60 saves.

SERIES HISTORY: This is the first meeting between the Storm and the Bobcats.  The series between the Storm and the Lakers is even at one win apiece. 

SCOUTING THE STORM:  Hana Abu-Kwiek leads the Storm with 28 points and 23 goals.  Ashriel West has tallied 20 points on 15 goals and five assists.  Samantha Gryba is third on the team with 13 goals.  Mallory Quiggle is tied with Abu-Kwiek and West with five assists in addition to her five goals.  Emma Miller has scored eight in her first season. Katie Holden leads the Storm with 24 groundballs while making 81 saves.

FORECAST: The Storm heads on the road next Friday (April 11) against Urbana University in a GLIAC match-up.
