ALLENDALE, MICHIGAN-- The Storm dropped a roa contest to Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference opponent Grand Valley State University in straight sets Friday night (Oct. 6) in Allendale, Michigan.

The Lakers (12-4, 5-3 GLIAC) won the sets 25-14, 25-17, 25-20.

Betsy Ronda led Grand Valley with 13 kills and 10 digs. Christina Canepa also tallied 10 digs in the win.

The Storm (3-11, 0-8 GLIAC) were led by Sara Aultz (Wooster, Ohio/Orrville) with eight kills. Rachel Ritt (Mentor, Ohio/Mentor) tallied five digs and Molly Richardson (Fort Wayne, Ind./Bishop Dwenger) served two aces,

The Storm return to action on Saturday (Oct. 6) to face GLIAC foe Ferris State University at 3 pm in Big Rapids, Michigan.
