Storm Travel to Compete in GLIAC/GLVC Crossover (Preview)

PAINESVILLE, Ohio- The Lake Erie College volleyball team will be in action this weekend as they travel to Aurora, Ill. to compete in the GLIAC/GLVC Crossover.  They will take on Illinois-Springfield, and Quincy on Friday (October 17th) at 12:30 P.M. and 6:30 P.M. respectively.  In addition to Friday, the Storm will be in action on Saturday (October 18th) as well when they play Drury at 2 P.M.

Storm Report: The Storm is 2-15 overall and 0-11 in conference play.  Lake Erie College lost their previous match against Saginaw Valley on Saturday (October 11th), but they are 1-2 in matches played on a neutral site. 

Series History: The Storm is a combined 0-4 against their opponents on Friday, and has never squared off against Drury.

Opposition Position: The Prairie Stars are 4-12 overall and 1-10 in conference play with their last match ending in defeat to Southern Indiana on Saturday (October 11th).  The Hawks are 4-15 overall and 2-9 in the conference with their last match ending in defeat to Southern Arkansas on Saturday (October 11th).  The Panthers are 9-8 overall and 3-8 in the conference with their last match ending in victory over Southern Arkansas on Saturday (October 11th). 

Forecast: Lake Erie College will be back in action Friday (October 24th) when they travel to take on Malone University at 7 P.M.
