The Lake Erie College Volleyball team is pleased to announce the signing of three student athletes who will join the team in the fall of 2017: Courtney Rosebrook (Patrick Henry High, OH), Kenzie Previts (Magnificat High, OH), and Cassie Coker (George Ranch High, TX).
The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) announced the All-GLIAC Volleyball Awards on Saturday (Nov. 19) in conjunction with the GLIAC Tournament Semifinals taking place. The awards were voted on by the coaches of the GLIAC schools.

On Wednesday (Nov. 16) night, the Storm defeated the Oilers 3-2 (25-23, 17-25, 21-25, 25-21, 15-11), upsetting the #2 seed in the first round of the GLIAC Tournament.

The Lake Erie College volleyball team will close out the home portion of the 2016 schedule with a GLIAC matchup with the Ohio Dominican University Panthers on Tuesday (Nov. 1) night. The matchup with the Panthers will serve as Senior Night.
The Lake Erie College volleyball team carried over some momentum of a win over the GLIAC South leading Findlay Oilers on Friday as they swept another GLIAC South leader in the first match of a tri-match on Saturday (Oct. 29).
The Lake Erie College volleyball team rallied at the right time as the Storm took the lead late in the fifth set to defeat the Findlay Oilers 3-2 on Friday (Oct.28) night. Lake Erie led 2-0 but Findlay changed the momentum, forcing a fifth set.
The Lake Erie College volleyball team will open up a four game home stand this weekend with two GLIAC matchups and a non-conference matchup. The Storm will host Findlay at 7:00 PM on Friday (Oct. 28) and a tri-match including Wayne State and Wheeling Jesuit on Saturday (Oct. 29).
For the 11th time this season, the Lake Erie College volleyball team played a match to five sets. The Storm fell to the Michigan Tech Huskies 3-2 (25-23, 26-24, 13-25, 18-25, 10-15) on Friday (Oct. 21) night. Lake Erie now has a record of 13-12 overall and 4-5 in the GLIAC.
After tying the program record for wins on Tuesday; the Lake Erie College volleyball team has an opportunity to break that record with a win this weekend. The Storm travels to Michigan for the final time as a member of the GLIAC to face the Michigan Tech Huskies (Oct. 21) and the Northern Michigan Wildcats (Oct. 22).
The Lake Erie College volleyball split a tri-match with Urbana University and Central State University on Tuesday (Oct. 18) night. The Storm swept Central State 3-0 (25-3, 25-11, 25-11) but fell to Urbana 3-1 (25-17, 23-25, 22-25, 23-25).
The Lake Erie College volleyball team fought hard but dropped three matches in five sets while at the Mizuno Midwest Region Crossover in Aurora, Illinois this weekend. On Friday (Oct. 14), Lake Erie fell 3-2 (14-25, 17-25, 26-24, 25-21, 16-18) to the University of Indianapolis. On Saturday (Oct. 15), Lake Erie fell to Truman State 3-2 (25-20, 21-25, 25-22, 21-25, 9-15) and Missouri-St. Louis 3-2 (25-22, 30-28, 25-27, 26-28, 16-18).
The Lake Erie College volleyball game will travel west to take part in the Mizuno Midwest Region Crossover featuring teams from the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC), Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) and the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC).
The Storm volleyball team at Lake Erie College will resume their longest home stand of the year with two more conference matches this weekend at the Osborne Center. Lake Erie will host the Lake Superior State Lakers at 7:00 PM on Friday (Oct. 7) and the Saginaw Valley State Cardinals at 2:00 PM on Saturday (Oct. 8).
After playing 14 of the first 15 matches on the road, the Lake Erie College volleyball team will return home to the Osborne Center this weekend for two GLIAC (Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference) matches. The Storm hosts Ferris State on Friday (Sept. 30) and Grand Valley State on Saturday (Oct. 1) as a part of a five match homestand.
