Lake Erie Falls to Hillsdale, 3-0

HILLSDALE, Mich. - The Lake Erie College volleyball team saw their second straight setback as the Storm completed a two-day Michigan road trip on Saturday (Sept. 24). Lake Erie was swept in three sets by the Hillsdale Chargers.

Lake Erie fell to 8-5 overall and 1-2 in the GLIAC after Hillsdale won three sets by the scores of 25-20, 25-21, and 25-20.

Crystal Kedroske (Dexter, Mich. / Dexter) was the only Storm player that finished with double-digit kills as she had ten for the day.  Kedroske added 12 digs, a game-high, on defense. Lee Lee Barrett (Chattanooga, Tn. / Ooltewah) had eight kills and two block assists as she led the team with a .375 attacking percentage. Sidney Fletcher (Saline, Mich. / Saline) helped the Storm defense with 11 digs. Alexis Thomas (Cincinnati, Ohio / Fairfield) made 29 assists in the match.

Hillsdale outhit Lake Erie .240 to .075 for the match.

The Storm will return to action with a road matchup at Ohio Dominican on Tuesday (Sept. 27).
