Storm Runners Compete at GLIAC Championships
Lake Erie had seven runners compete at the 2011 GLIAC Championships hosted by Ashland University Saturday. The top Lake Erie finisher was sophomore Jimmy Hudd who took 71st place.

Storm Harriers Run at All-Ohio Championships
The Lake Erie cross country teams were among the nearly 50 schools in the Buckeye State competing Friday (Sept. 30) at Cedarville University in the annual All-Ohio Meet. The Storm men placed 40th overall while the women were 43rd.

LEC Runs at Annual Edinboro Rag Relay Event
The Storm cross country teams tuned up for next week's All-Ohio Championships by competing against the host Fighting Scots at the annual relay event.

Gerber and Fluker Post Top-10's at Behrend Invitational
Junior Craig Gerber and sophomore Shanita Fluker each finished in 10th place individiually for the Storm men and women, respectively, Saturday morning at the Penn State Behrend Invitational in Erie, Pa. Fluker's time of 20:17.2 was a school record.

Storm XC Teams Open Season at Walsh Race
Sophomore Shanita Fluker posted a career-best time in the 5K as the Lake Erie cross country squads opened the 2011 campaign on Saturday at the Ric Sayre Invitational in Canton.
