Lake Erie had seven runners compete at the 2011 GLIAC Championships hosted by Ashland University Saturday. The top Lake Erie finisher was sophomore Jimmy Hudd who took 71st place.

Lake Erie Athletics will host a number of "Taking Breast Cancer by Storm" events throughout October - National Breast Cancer Awareness Month - in an effort to show suppor and raise funds for the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Fans attending these events are encouraged to wear pink to cheer on the Storm!

The Lake Erie cross country teams were among the nearly 50 schools in the Buckeye State competing Friday (Sept. 30) at Cedarville University in the annual All-Ohio Meet. The Storm men placed 40th overall while the women were 43rd.
