Lee and Swan Named April's SA's of the Month

PAINESVILLE, Ohio – Lake Erie College women's track and field's Nadia Lee (Tucker, Ga. / Tucker) and Men's Lacrosse's Bret Swan (Acton City, Ont. / Halton Hills) have been named Lake Erie SAAC Student-Athlete of the Month for their performances in the months of April and May.

Lee had a sensational close to her senior season as she broke her own school record in the triple jump.  Lee currently ranks 13th in the triple jump nationally.  She most recently won the triple jump at the GLIAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships.  Lee will be in action this weekend as she attempts to qualify for Nationals.

Swan was recently named Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Specialist of the Year, and was also awarded G-MAC First team All-Conference honors.  Swan won 96 out of 138 faceoffs, for a 69.5 faceoff percentage which tops in the conference.  Swan also picked up 60 ground balls for the Storm.
