2011: Pitched in 10 games as a sophomore, making nine starts... posted a 3-2 record with 5.63 ERA... tossed 46.1 innings, second most on the team, and struck out 25... tossed a complete-game one-hitter to defeat Hillsdale 6-1 on 4/2 for the program's first GLIAC victory. Allowed one unearned run and struck out two (one walk) in seven innings... struck out a career-high eight in six innings against Pitt-Johnstown on 3/19. Allowed three runs on seven hits with a walk in the 5-4 Storm victory... allowed two earned runs or fewer in six starts... held Tiffin to just two earned runs (three total) in 6.1 innings of 4-3 win on 4/9 but did not factor in decision... pitched six innings of more five times.
2010: Made 13 appearances on the year with two starts... posted a 2-1 record with a 5.32 ERA (third on the team) in 26 innings... picked up his first win against Baldwin-Wallace on 3/27 as he did not allow a hit in two innings... won his first start with five scoreless innings against Notre Dame on 4/21 as he allowed three hits.
PRIOR TO LAKE ERIE: Played four years of baseball at Alliance High School... graduated as the winningest pitcher in school history (23-6)... was a two-time All-Northeastern Buckeye Conference selection (second team 2008, first team 2009)... helped lead team to three NBC championships, one district championship and one district runner-up finish... also played three seasons of basketball and football and one season of soccer... played on a total of seven conference championship teams in his high school career.
