QUICK NOTES: After two straight weeks on the road, the Storm returns home to face perennial national power Grand Valley State... the game is part of Lake Erie's "Taking Breast Cancer by Storm" awareness initiative. The Storm team will wear pink ribbon decals on their helmets, along with other pink themed accessories... after winning its opener, the Storm has dropped its first five league games, though its opponents over that stretch have a combined record of 22-7... last week LEC closed within seven points of #6 Wayne State on the road before the Warriors scored a pair of big play TDs to pull away for a 45-24 win. Senior QB Sean Bedevelsky (Brunswick, Ohio/Brunswick) threw for two touchdowns and ran for another in the loss. One of those TD passes was to freshman Aaron Lindgren (Willoughby, Ohio/Willoughby South) - the first of his career. Bedevelsky has thrown 117 passes without an interception... Grand Valley shockingly lost its first three GLIAC games but has bounced back with a pair of wins over Tiffin and Northern Michigan... last year, Lake Erie led 20-19 late in the second quarter but the then top-ranked Lakers outscored LEC 30-0 in the second half of a 57-23 win.
