Storm, Cleveland Browns Team Up To Give Back

(BEREA, Ohio) – Lake Erie football student-athletes teamed up with the Cleveland Browns to help give back to the community today as part of the First and Ten Movement today. Storm players Ibrahim Kanu, Anthony Ruffin, Elems Ukwu Jr., and Joshua Villas-Delgado, helped out the Browns with their #Give10 campaign by assisting with their Special Olympics Play 60 program at their official practice facility.

Players helped set up the field and ran the participants through agility drills along with socializing with them throughout the event.

"We are so proud of our guys and the way that they give back to our community," said Assistant Coach Thomas Swilley who traveled with the Storm student-athletes and also assisted with the event. "We are truly blessed to be able to participate with such an awesome organization."

The Browns' First and Ten movement was designed to encourage and help individuals make a difference in the community through volunteering and inspiring others to do the same. The Storm football team was recently featured on the Cleveland Browns website in a top 10 article about the movement.
