PAINESVILLE, OHIO -- The Lake Erie College men's basketball team was picked to finish fifth in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) South Division in voting conducted by the league's media members released as part of the GLIAC Basketball Media Day website launch on Oct. 28. The Storm is entering its first season as a member of the conference.
Senior guard Ethan Bradshaw (Cincinnati, Ohio/Harmony Prep) was named to the Preseason All-GLIAC South Division Second Team by the league's coaches. Bradshaw, who averaged a team-leading 16.6 points per game last season, leads a group of seven returners with starting experience.
In the media poll, the Storm received 63 points, ahead of Tiffin University and fellow GLIAC newcomer Ohio Dominican University. Perennial Division II power University of Findlay was picked to be the South's top team. Grand Valley State University was the top pick in the North.
