PAINESVILLE, Ohio- The Lake Erie College men's basketball team will make the trip to Pennsylvania to continue non-conference play with a matchup with the Griffins of Seton Hill University on Tuesday (Nov. 22).
Storm Warning: Lake Erie fell to Edinboro in the home opener on Wednesday (Nov. 16) by a final score of 87-75, dropping the Storm to 0-3 on the year. Nick Wells (Akron, Ohio / St. Vincent-St. Mary) led the Storm with 18 points, while Jordan Humphrey (Columbus, Ohio / Westerville South) scored 17 points.
Opposition Position: Seton Hill enters the matchup with the Storm with a 2-2 overall record this season. The Griffins lost to Lock Haven 94-77 on Sunday in PSAC conference play. Spencer Casson is the leading scorer for the Griffins, averaging 13.8 points per game.
Series History: These two teams have only faced off once since 2009, when Lake Erie joined Division II. Lake Erie defeated Seton Hill 77-73 in overtime at the Osborne Center last season. Trey Howard led the Storm with 22 points in the meeting.
Storm Forecast: The Storm will travel back to Pennsylvania to play in the Gary Miller Classic this weekend. The Storm's first matchup will be with the Gannon Golden Knights on Friday (Nov. 25).
