(HILLSDALE, Mich.) – Two of the top teams in the G-MAC will clash tomorrow evening as Lake Erie heads on the road to meet Hillsdale. Both teams have identical records of 6-4 overall and 3-1 within the conference for the early season leaders of standings.
Both teams are coming off of their first in-league loss and looking to get back into the win column. The Storm's setback came at Ohio Dominican while the Chargers dropped their contest to Walsh at home. It's also a rematch of last year's G-MAC Tournament semifinal contest that saw the Storm's season end at the hands of the Chargers.
The battle pit the G-MAC's two top defenses up against one another. Hillsdale recently surpassed Lake Erie in the category as it now yields 64.5 points to the Storm's 66.9. Lake Erie does hold a slight edge on the Chargers when it comes to scoring margin in games with a +5.5 advantage to Hillsdale's +3.2.
Individually Gabe Kynard continues to be one of the top scorers in the conference with 18.1 points per game, good for fourth. Hillsdale counter's with Dylan Lowry who has poured in 14.6 points a game.
