Milo's Fifth Place Finish Leads Lake Erie to Fourth at ODU Classic

PAINESVILLE, OHIO – Senior C.J. Milo (Painesville, Ohio/Mentor) had his best finish in the past two seasons as his 6-over, two-day score of 150 (74-76) was good for fifth place at the Ohio Dominican University Kisor Classic. 

Lake Erie finished fourth as a team with 633 strokes.  The Storm scored 316 in round one and 317 in the second round at the par-72 Cumberland Trail Golf Course.

Junior Frank Whites III (Wickliffe, Ohio/Wickliffe) was just behind Milo with a score of 155 (77-78), good for tied for 8th and sophomore Mike Guarino (Mentor, Ohio/Mentor) finished tied for 15th place at 160 (82-78).  Junior Matt Hennessey (Chardon, Ohio/Chardon) rounded out the Storm's scoring quartet with an 168 (83-85). 

Lake Erie is in action next when it travels to the first NCAA Regional of the year on Sept. 19.
