The Lake Erie College Storm men's golf team prepares for two Great Midwest Athletic Conference tournaments this week to begin the 2019 fall season. Tomorrow's tournament, hosted by Ohio Dominican University, marks the first appearance for Storm golf since 2016 with the reboot of the program under head golf coach Brody Harwell. Coach Harwell plans to grow the program in both roster and schedule in the future, but he is excited to get underway with the 2019 fall season.
Freshman Jarrod Teeter will begin his collegiate career tomorrow to represent Lake Erie College at the 36 hole invitational hosted by Ohio Dominican. Teeter was a three-year First-Team All-Conference honoree and was named to the First-Team Central District team as a senior, in addition to a four-year varsity letter winner and team captain at Northridge High School.
The Storm men's golf fall schedule currently has three other events after the ODU Invite, which will be held at Wedgewood Country Club. Teeter will compete in the Malone Fall Tournament on Saturday, Sept. 6-7 at Tannenhauf Golf Course, the G-MAC Fall Preview held at the Pearl Club in Owensboro, Kentucky (KWC), and The Kyle Ryman Memorial, a 54-hole tournament hosted by Tiffin University.
