DUNBURY, Conn.—Three members of the fifth-ranked Lake Erie College men's lacrosse team earned Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Player of the Week honors for their performance in wins against Roberts Wesleyan College and second-ranked Le Moyne College last week.
Reagan Harding (Saskatoon, Sask./Bishop James Mahoney) was named Offensive Player of the Week. Harding scored five goals against Roberts Wesleyan in the Storm's season opener. At Le Moyne, Harding netted two more.
Justin Goodwin (New Westminster, B.C./New Westminster Secondary) was named Defensive Player of the Week. Against Roberts Wesleyan, Goodwin caused six turnovers and had nine groundballs. At Le Moyne, Goodwin caused two more turnovers and had six groundballs. He also went three-of-five on faceoffs.
Lucas Shafer (Hamburg, N.Y./Hamburg) was named Rookie of the Week. In his first collegiate game against Roberts Wesleyan, Shafer scored two goals and had two assists while collecting three groundballs. At Le Moyne, Shafer had a goal and an assist while collecting three groundballs.
