The ninth-ranked Lake Erie College lacrosse team continues their five game homestand against 17th-ranked Pfeiffer University in a non-conference game.
LAST TIME OUT: The Storm defeated Ohio Valley University 13-5 to open ECAC play. Mitchell Shafer led the Storm with a goal and four assists with two groundballs. Edmond Renaud ended the game with two goals and one assist with two groundballs as well. John Kezerian scored twice while Courtland Black-Araujo had two goals and an assist. Lucas Shafer, Hunter Hays, Jacob Mitchell, James Chadwick, Nick Benningfield and Connor Ward had a goal while Mitchell Stokes and Mack Fall had an assist. Kole Robinson six caused turnovers and five groundballs. Liam Smith and Brett Swan had six groundballs apiece. Tom Lipomi picked up the win in net, making six saves in 30 minutes. Dylan Dix pitched a shutout in the third quarter, making three saves. Swan won 13-of-19 faceoffs.
SERIES HISTORY: The Falcons own a 3-1 advantage in the series. They last met in 2014 when the Falcons on 6-4 in North Carolina.
OPPOSITION POSITION: The Falcons enter the game with a 5-2 overall record. They are coming off of a 16-10 win at Lees-McRae College. Cole Sheen leads the Falcons offensive attack with 25 goals. Mike Moorehead has started all seven games in net, making 77 saves.
UP NEXT: The Storm is back in action March 22 against Walsh University in ECAC play.
