Storm Concludes Homestand Against Battlers (PREVIEW)

The eighth-ranked Lake Erie College men's lacrosse team wraps-up their five-game homestand in ECAC play against Alderson-Broaddus University.

LAST TIME OUT: The Storm toppled Walsh University 15-8 Tuesday (March 22). Edmond Renaud led the Storm offense with three goals and two assists. Courtland Black-Araujo scored a team-high four goals.  Mitchell Shafer had two goals and three assists while Lucas Shafer had three goals.  Patrick Bay, John Kezerian and Connor Ward had a goal apiece. Mitchell Stokes had two assists while Brandon Donohue and Jacob Mitchell had one. Zach Bruening caused five turnovers and had two groundballs.  Renaud caused three with five groundballs.  Lucas Shafer collected four groundballs. Tom Lipomi picked up the win in net, making six saves. Bret Swan went 15-of-20 on faceoffs with eight groundballs.

SERIES HISTORY: The Storm is 3-0 all-time against the Battlers.  Last season, the Storm won the game 16-3.

OPPOSITION POSITION: The Battlers enter the game with a 2-5 overall record.  They fell in their most recent outing to Walsh.  Keir Yonge leads the Battlers with 14 goals and 10 assists. Dom Moriarty has started six games in net for the battlers making 81 saves. 

UP NEXT: The Storm heads to Seton Hill University April 2 for a pivotal ECAC game.
