Storm Set to Host Top-Ranked Limestone (PREVIEW)

The eighth-ranked Lake Erie College men's lacrosse team returns home to face top-ranked Limestone College in a rematch form the 2015 NCAA Division-II South Region Finals. 

LAST TIME OUT: Lucas Shafer led the Storm with four goals while grabbing four groundballs.  Edmond Renaud had a hat trick.  Mitchell Shafer had two assists while Courtland Black-Araujo had a goal and an assist.  Zach Bruening also tallied an assist. Tyler Smoot and Bret Swan had four groundballs apiece to lead the Storm.  Mack Fall had three groundballs.  Bruening led the Storm with three caused turnovers. Tom Lipomi picked up the win in net. Swan won 14-18 faceoffs. 

SERIES HISTORY: The Storm is 1-1 all-time against the Saints.  The Storm defeated the Saints during the regular season last year but fell in the playoffs.  Both games took place at Limestone. 

OPPOSITION POSITION: The Saints enter the game with a perfect 14-0 record and as the unanimous number one team in the country.  They most recently defeated 15th-ranked Belmont Abbey 25-6.  Kyle Rhatigan leads the Saints with 70 points on 40 goals and 30 assists. Patrick Sheridan has picked up every decision in net. 

UP NEXT: The Storm heads to Mercyhurst University for their final road game of the regular season next Saturday (April 23).
